I just got started on this game and thought I was doing ok until I checked the walkthrough:

1. Picture of the blood on the rock and the wheel chair

I can only take one picture that shows both the wheel chair and blood on the rock. The walkthrough mentioned "take a picture of the blood on the rock" and "Take picture of the wheel chair", which implied there will be 2 pictures.

Is it one picture or two pictures? If it is two, how do I take a picture of the blood on the rock? I click/double click on the rock/blood and nothing happens.


2. Picture of Sonia Jones's footprints

The walkthrough said "Norm takes a picture of her hands and footprints" but when I take the picture, I get a picture of her shoes instead of footprints (bare feet). Is it supposed to be Sonia Jones's shoes or bare feet?

What is the label of the picture of the shoes you took?
If I remember correctly, I looked close at the blood on the rocks and took picture.

Are these pictures enough to solve the mandate? Or do I need to take another picture of the blood on the rock and a picture of Sonia's bare feet?

OK. The walkthrough is mislabeled.

No, for Sonia's picture since the evidence you need is a footprint.
I would try to see if you can get a close up of the blood on the rock.

The bar under the mandate on the left of your picture doesn't show any red. That bar is your gauge to see how you are doing in accumulating evidence.

I will see if I can get a picture of Sonia's footprint. Back at the Promenade Beach, she let me take a photo of her shoe. Since footprints was discovered at the arbor, I figured I need Sonia's footprints and not shoes. But when I click Sonia again at the beach, I get something like "I am distracted" which means no more actions available. Hopefully this footprint taking will be done at another scene..

Hmmm..I will go back to the cliffside and see if I could get a closeup of the blood on the rock. Last time I was there, I click/double click on the blood/rock and nothing happened. There was no cursor change except the prints which I can't do anything yet as I do not have graphite powder.

I'm still early in the game (only finished two scenes: Tortoise Belvedere and Promenade Beach) so I haven't gathered enough evidence yet. Thus the bar under the mandate ("Who was at the Belvedere of Tortoise on the night of Walter Jones' death?") does not show red. I've solved the first mandate so I know I should expect the bar to show red.

The only real bare footed picture that you'll get is Baina's.
The rest are shoeprints.

Hello all I just started playing this great game ,,, its background ... rain ... sand beach...huts om Im enjoying but I have one problem I keep getting booted off or kicked out of the game its like 5xs already I restarted this game from the beach talking to Lorenzo Battaglieri, and Sonia then when I keep playing ... up until the 22nd floor to his studio...Thats when I get booted off... again

Please anyone ... Please send me a save at Lorenzo Suite Oh and btw Im playing regular Game not timed ok thank you for any help

Sorry I don't have saves for this game. We'll have to wait for someone who does. Have you tried changing settings in the options?

Leeana, I have plenty of saves, but I'm not playing the game by the walkthrough and so my play is all over the place. I can send you my next save after the beach conversation, if you'd like, but if you are having technical problems with the game then I would think the same problems would occur even after installing my save. Have you posted in Glitches?

But just say the word and I'll e-mail the save straight across to you. I'm not playing Timed either.

no Ihavent taken this to glitches as of yet Rushes but if you can please forward me that save its not times right also if I see that it keeps booting me off I will have to wait.....wait that is until my Dell memory..... that I ordered a couple of weeks ago and just arrived two days ago... are installed then after that if it still keeps booting me off I will go to glitches forum Thank You Rushes

Oh your not going to believe this well after starting from you save ((thanks again for that )) I got booted off again oh well Im ready to uninstall and call it quits but instead I will put it aside and wait until my daughter puts more memory into the computer I was soooo loveing this game I got as far as ... Who was at the Belvedere of Tortoise on the night of WJ's Death... ready to use the pda and poof just like that I was out... oh well Thanks anyway

That's a shame. Don't uninstall, wait and see if the extra memory helps with the game performance - or check out Glitches to see if anyone else has experienced a similar problem. Have you turned off all special effects that you are able to?
