I'm having the worst time getting this game to download. It took 3 hours to get to 92%, then jumped back to 78%, got back up to 94% an hour later and then stated "failed to download".

Did anyone else have this much trouble. I checked the help section at BFG but couldn't find anything that fit this scenario. I have DSL so I figured it would take about an hour. That's about how long other large file games have taken.

I'll check with Big Fish support, but was wondering if anyone here had this problem.

Zookeeper, I know some folks talked about download problems.

Mine started and stopped, but then I restarted it, and it finished smoothly. Though not in 5 minutes like Ana's wave

Mine also downloaded very quickly with broadband the morning it was released.

If I were you, wait a few hours and try again. It's possible that they are just having temporary network or server issues.

Thanks all. I'll try again this morning when none of the other computers on my network are being used. It just occurred to me that 2 other computers were online at the time I was downloading. That may have been part of it at least. We'll see.

Wow, 5 minutes Ana! Even the little games at Big Fish take longer than that on my connection.

Update:

Well, I finally got it to download, but only by sitting with it and pausing and restarting every time it hung up. Did that 20-30 times. But I got it done in about 40 minutes. Now, the problem is, the game plays but it's missing some text. Like, the list of items to find in the hidden object screens and some of the comments when you click on stuff. Makes the game a bit more challenging for sure. smile

I'm waiting in line at Live Chat to see what they say. Hope to get it fixed. It's a fun game!
