I didn't have to shuffle Van Helsing around to any particular position, I don't think that should be causing the problem. I'll send that save across to you now, check your e-mail in a few minutes. :wave12:

What an ending! Thanks for the saved game, Rushes! I was surprised at the guest Duchess Orlowski had and that she knew this person. Odd! Anyway, Merry Christmas to all as you all have saved me from many a trial and tribulation!

Thanks Ameno.

See the picture and where the hotspot is located on the rope - that is where it should be.

Hi Taxlady,

There are two pulleys, both in the foreground of your screen, but one is on the far left, the other on the far right. They are very dark and difficult to spot, so you might need to hunt around with your cursor. Make sure the rope is attached to both. luck

Taxlady,

Be sure that you exhausted all conversation with the coachman.
Also have clicked on the name and number on the top of the coffins and clicked on the tags of the portrait in the hall.

lorre,

Did you check the white painting-tapestry below the tapestry of the knights and get Helsing to note what it is about: Genesis - Fiat lux?

Saved game sent.

If this is the pyramid shadows or the pyramids on the sand - I don't remember any reset.
I just take the pyramids off and replace them with different ones.

Have you already placed the pyramids in the sand basin? What happens if you click on any of them?

jorja,

Are you still selecting the correct pyramids from all the pyramids in your inventory?

If so, you need to read-click the middle pillar at left of chamber. Use the lit lantern on the pillar.

That might be the light you need.

/waves Hello

So I'm a newbie to the forum and I'm having trouble getting past the part where I need make the trap for the Coachman. I did everything I needed to do according to the WT. After baiting the trap with the rat I still have an option to click on the trap and I don't know what to do? I've picked everything up that I needed to and now I am stuck.

TIA

welcome Arcanarose,

Let's review how to do the trap.
You have 2 ropes. Use one rope on the pulley on the ceiling at left side.
Attach the leghold trap on that hanging rope.
Then use the other rope on the leghold trap.
You then attach that rope attached to the trap on the other pulley at right side of the ceiling.

Get the rat and then click it on the trap.
After this and everything is done correctly - a cutscene will happen.
