I just rea the review for this game on Gamezebo and it's like a good HOG. Has anyone heard of this game will make it to Big Fish?

It seems a bit premature since not even the Developer has it for download yet, but Gamershell has a demo Here.

It is not RealArcade so, BigFish could well have it anytime.

Started playing the demo and another one with a timer on it. Every 10 randon clicks you loose 30 sec. As far as the game goes I really like it. If it stays with the timer no buy. Thanks

This was a RealArcade evaluation, but it wouldn't work on my computer, (am running Vista), so don't have a clue about it. I contacted Real Arcade about this, but haven't heard back from them.

Ah! Thanks for the explanation. If it's a RealArcade evaluation, then BigFish likely won't get it. Nothing I found says RA on it.

Too bad BFG will not have it. I will have to think about purchasing from RealArcade.

I played the demo for this and really enjoyed it. It is from a company called Big Blue Bubble. Has anyone heard of them? I dont think it is a Real Arcade game, as I was just on their site and didn't see it mentioned.

Doreen

Just googled them. They are a Canadian game development company, but mostly for mobile phones etc. They semed to have branched out with this one. It is listed as a new release.

Big Blue Bubble is actually the creator of the popular Home Sweet Home series. All of the Home Sweet Home games are available on BigFish so it is very possible that this game will be also.

I just downloaded the demo from Spintop and it seems they got rid of the flash, it makes it so much better to play.

I think this is one that I will get, the next time Spin top has a 50%. The review really makes this a game I want to play.

I finished demo yesterday and liked it inspite of the timer, the hints are very fast restoring and I used them a lot, many objects are very small and difficult to see, mini games are fun. I'm going to buy it at BFG.

Played the demo, but I still don't like timers. The flashing gave me a bit of a headache. If it wasn't for that timer I may have gotten this one.

FYI... I do RealArcade evaluations and quite a few were later released at BFG. In fact one that is offered now has already been featured at BFG. RA doesn't just evaluate their own games.
(I'd rather be a BFG evaluator, but I take what I can get... it sometimes fills a boring afternoon.)

As for this game, I was very disappointed. Stranded in the house all weekend due to bad weather I looked forward to a good HOG or IHOG and this game is the worse, in my opinion.

It is the most frustrating HOG I've ever played. The timer is from Hades... the hints are useless-- they circle a large area and the items are so minute, after a hint I still can't find the object.

Clicking... well you are in a police lab and you haven't a clue what a PDA is or some of the other scientific items so you need to click. Find a beaker in a lab... there were so many it could have been. Then you have to find things that are invisible to the naked eye. You can use a UV light and fingerprint duster but how can you find where to use them without random clicking--- since you can't see them??????

My final frustration with this game is the item SHOE is on the list, I click on a shoe and it's wrong. There is another shoe. I think HOG rules should state -- only one item on the list should be in the picture. Especially when you get penalized for clicking.

All in all, I think I'll read a book this weekend.

I agree with NYLady, the game lost a lot of attraction because of the timer and hints are difficult to use. Sometimes I had to click the hint on the same spot 2-3 times to get something invisible. But I liked using the UV light and duster. You don't need to click at once, just move around and the spot will be revealed, then click on it. The story is interesting, I'm still playing, but I don't know how I will manage the next scene with the 30 objects to find in the very clustered room for the same 10 min.

Well, I was disappointed because it was so short. I didn't mind the timer or the hint system, but it was way too short for my liking. When it was said 25 levels, I was thinking chapters, but that wasn't so. Only 3 chapters I think, and 5 or six different scenes.

Oh well, what's done is done.

I just finished the game and as was mentioned, it's short. the story was good and wish they had added more chapters. the system is okay but 10 minutes to find objects sometimes is not enough. I don't mind timed HOGs when it's pretty generous. The flashing did bother my eyes.

I have to agree that the flashing is annoying, but I don't mind that as much as the timer. The story is appealing, but the irritation factors might be too high for me to buy this one. Too bad in a way, as it could easily have been a keeper.

I bought this game primarily because the developers were SO close, I wanted to encourage them to try again.

I really liked the developed storyline and tight integration of the story with the game. And some of the techniques - like matching the fingerprints - were not only slightly novel but actually relevant! (Although there were a couple of faux pas as well - while it was logical to dust the club for fingerprints, for example, it was not at all logical to dust the lab!)

In addition, I thought the graphics and music were above average. And the flashlight function was downright elegant - it was the best "flashlight" I've ever used in a game!

I admit to being very surprised, however, that there wasn't an option to turn off the timer. I use the timer myself and I don't have a problem with it so long as the hint system is generous (this one is - another good decision by the developers). But I think it's pretty well and widely known that a lot of people don't like to use a timer. Instead of going all-timer or timer-free, then, it just seems like a no-brainer to me to give the player an option of whether to use one or not.

In addition, I think it should probably have been anticipated that using big bright blinking light on a computer screen - however cool - might cause some players problems.

I think people look to games for different things - intellectual stimulation, mindless diversion, whatever - but I'm pretty confident that feeling sick isn't one of them.

And the game is too short.

Nonetheless, there's enough quality here to interest me in seeing more from them.

I totally agree with your assessment of the game. Hopefully there will be a sequel that addresses these issues.

I just read in the Big Fish Forum that Big Blue Bubble has taken out the bright flashing lights. They said to uninstall and then reinstall and it should be different.
