Hi, I was happily playing along in this game until I needed a total of 10 vortex crystals. They lay about on the floor and you just walk on them to collect them.
I am halfway through this game in the sewers for the first time. I have picked up all visible crystals and I went back through where I've already been and they are all picked up.
So, I checked out the walkthrough here. It only says to 'fill vortex card', but you see, I can't as there aren't anymore.
The walkthrough says there's a mushroom room with 2 crystals (which is what I think I need) but there's no way to get to them.
My question is am I missing the entrance to the mushrooms or is it locked right now? Where am I suppose to find more crystals without going through the red door in the mansion where the ultra heavy duty robots are?
I originally typed this here, in Adventure, but realized this is an arcade game and should be in the Dark Side so I moved it. Not a problem, just strange.
I went ahead and grabbed 2 vortex crystals from farther ahead in the story, losing a few lives in the process. The mushroom room doesn't open up until you fill the vortex card so I guess I had to do it this way.
It's an addicting little game but there is alot of running around. My feet are tired, lol.
Sorry for the confusion Burpee! I moved you back to adventure hints because there are four pages of archived hints on this game in the adventure hints forum here.

This is a cute and fun game, kind of a cross between arcade/action and adventure. You get shot at by Mr. Smoozles (whose brain has been scrambled) so you must run from him alot (the arcade/action part). But when you enter lots of areas, he does not follow so you can puzzle out what to do at your own pace.
I played on 'easy' which has extra hints. I'm now going to play it on 'medium' and perhaps 'hard' at some point. I may also write a more indepth walkthrough, just for the fun of it.
