Hi NancyDrewNow,

The entrance to the water well is by the right side of the fountain at Campo Santa Maria Formosa, and will appear in close-up as soon as you enter that area. Do make sure that you have listened to all the messages/extensions on the fax machine back at Fango's office, though - otherwise the well entrance won't appear and you will only see the fountain.

Check the map on the wall to your right close to the entrance, and compare that to the water well map that you took from the propane bin. You're in #1 circle at the moment, and need to plan your route to #10 to get across to the other ladder. You'll manage this by turning the wheels to fill/drain the wells appropriately (bridges will appear for you to cross).

Hope that helps you to get started. smile

Try this from the walkthrough:
From the map pull back and turn right around the corner.
Turn around and see the circle water well. We want to go across based on the map.
Go forward and see that the water is down. Turn left and fill this circle well by turning the wheel counterclockwise.
Now cross the bridge.
Now we're in #2 in the map.

Save your game before you start out - that way, if you get lost or make an error you can go back and replay from that point. luck

You might not be at the correct place, save the game and then explore.

There isn't much to explore.I can only go left and right. And they both have the same things.A wheel to fill/drain the water.

If you are by the wheel and you know that it fills or drains the water. See if you do need to fill or drain the well.
If you are not finding the bridge, you might have done it incorrectly.
Best to go back to a saved game and start over before touching the wheels.
