That is a good question and to be honest I have no preference of type of story as long as it holds my interest. I like all the different genres you mention, intrigue, fantasy, reality etc.

Maybe some have been done to death with HOGS like detective ghosts/archeology and I think everyone would say Egyptian theme is overdone so a fresh outlook might be welcomed there.

I like stories that make me feel happy/sad - any emotion make me excited to look forward to what happens next so that leaves it pretty much wide open for me. I am pretty easy to please as long as the game will make my coffee:)

thanks - BellaRosa! i am not sure about "playrix's next games will make your coffee" smile. but - you have great idea about "good\bad emotions" in games! smile all games - are about entertainment and joy! smile you are right!

as usual - most important items - are "easy for understood". and "easy for forget\overload" too. smile so - thank you again - for remind me about emotions! i promise - own games will give you right and rich emotions! smile thanks for your and for all game boomers feedback - again!

Also...if it is a shorter game but not so much scene repetition and there are more Different scenes that is good! What fun is a 'longer' game by just having to go back to the same few scenes more than a few times-that Really irritates me. I really like the spooky games and also games that have water..like ocean, lakes, streams...water that MOVES! I like movement in my HOGS! It is not a necessity but sure is nice (if done well).

Would also add Treasure Seekers: Visions of Gold. Had a nice variety of puzzles that went with the story. Do not forget to have a relaxed or no-time mode.

you open my eyes - ScarletDragon - really, really thanks! also - you like some games - i like too. smile

one more question. are you play Nick Chase: A Detective Story? what are wrong in this game - from your point? too dark "story and world". and too hard\not interested puzzles?
do i miss something? [/quote]

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Yes, I bought Nick Chase: a Detective Story and I love that game! The story and dialogue are excellent. It was well made except that the drawings are sometimes just a little too "fuzzy" to pick out details. Despite that, I enjoyed playing it and will probably play it again soon.
