Welcome back smile

Here's a few games I liked:

- Ankh 3: Battle of the Gods(availabe for pre-order on InteractCD OR as download at AdventureShop)
- Ceville
- Emerald City Confidential
- Art of Murder 2 - The Hunt for the Puppeteer

Then of course Telltale has released 1st episode of their Wallace & Gromit adventure smile

- Wallace & Gromit: Fright of the Bumblebees (next one comes in may)

I have enjoyed all the new releases that I have so far played over the last 6 months but for me Yoomurjak's Ring is well worth the money & download time! (BTW I usually like to wait for a boxed version of a game to come out before I buy it but there doesn't seem to be one on the horizon for that one!) smile

CSI: NY is a casual game. I recommend you try the Free Hour here before you buy.

Maria, CSI:Ny is not for kids, it's just not a very well made game. I am glad you tried before you bought it.

I have not played Outcry, but I know there are good comments in other threads on it.

Maria, If you like surreal elements and point and click play. OUTCRY is, in my opinion, one of the best new games in a long time. I reviewed it here

http://www.mrbillsadventureland.com/reviews/o-p/outcryR/outcryR.htm

And liked it mote than a lot.

Having played a ton of games recently, the most impressive recent titles were: The Colour of Murder, A Vampyre Story and, best of all - Ceville. I agree with the other posters that OutCry is a must-play, as well, if you like weird, rather dark and psychological twists with your story-line. Maybe a bit longer ago than six months, I couldn't get the haunting story imbeded in Diamonds In The Rough, as well as the accompanying musical themes, out of my head for some time. Highly recommended!

I see some praises for Ceville. Looks like it's a fun game.

Ceville is great fun! (Provided you have a sense of humour of course.)

Phoebe, I'm glad you were warned about CSI NY. I was also greatly disappointed by it, as I had loved the previous CSI games. And funnily enough, my first thought was also: My kids could play this game, if only it had different content!

I see you live in Italy, Maria. Then I would first of all really recommend buying Tale of a Hero. It's become one of my favorite adventure games of recent years.

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it. It's been 14 months since its release though.

Phoebe, get A Vampyre Story!
