Hint 1: This game (according to the Pagoda Adventure Game Database) released between 1990 and 1995.

Hint 2: The magnificent enterprises of "Top Dog" Bearing and Awayo: the hindmost "Triassic vertebrate" (original order)

Hi Becky! wave Long time no see. grin

Yes, another little text adventure can be played, loosely inspired by the lyrics of a song. This time the song is Miracle by Ilse DeLange.

Wandering through the desert, finally a house comes in sight. Maybe some water can be found there! Oh no:

Someone put a lock on this old door
It's been beaten up and used and more
It's been kicked a hundred thousand times
Keeping all the memories behind

(N.B. Bernard - I clicked on the link to the song but it 'wasn't available' (in the UK?) so I found it myself but the quality was so bad I couldn't catch the lyrics but I liked the tune! lol)

There seems to be an irregular shaped piece of cardboard inside the lock. A tool is needed! Maybe that Swiss army knife in your pocket could help?

Use knife to remove cardboard. Examine cardboard.

Not SH:TA Becky, although it would be my first guess too! smile

With the knife you're able to get the cardboard out of the lock. It looks like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle. There's a hint of a cheesy smell to it. With the toothpick of the knife you're able to unlock the door. You're in the hallway. There's a door to the north and one to the west. The exit is in the east.
You really need water now!

Sam and Max: Culture Shock?

Entering the doorway to the north you see you're in the kitchen now. Finally water! Oh no, the previous owner didn't pay his bills, so no water is coming out of the tap. Falling to the ground there's only one thing on your mind, I'm not so tough.

You're absolutivitly right Zookee, that's the game I had in mind. smile

Thanks Bernard. smile I'm a little unprepared. Will have to think about this and be back with a clue.

Back in a bit.

Ok, here goes....

A case of mistaken identity...or is it?
