That was a great link. I liked the bright red, attention grabber issue. I guess GK3 and TLJ had just come out. I kept clicking to find the hints and discussion etc. Of course the rest wasn't there but would have been interesting to see. There was something mentioned about music. Were there selections of game music available? That would be interesting for some of the older games. Thanks, Mel22odie

Mel, I notice that you are a member since March 2003. I got in Decembre 03.

I don't remember that there was a selection of game music available at one time since the biginning of GameBoomers.

Even if the idea is certainly interesting, it would be quite a venture to get into that.


And by the way, to all members who posted to say that they entered the Giveaway, I got all your names for the drawing and got as much if not more that did not post.

So, it is a good Giveaway up to now and keep those entries coming in.

Hi rmelone -- I edited out the email address you posted, and just to be safe, the IP address as well. Spam bots can search for email address postings in forums, and then send loads of spam!

rmelone, you were sending it to Chiefs personal mail and not the giveaway address. Please send to the giveaway one mentioned in his post.

Chief,I tried to find the site again but didn't have success. I had followed your link and then there were letters that spoke of the red and gold colors of the old Gameboomers. I followed a link to a 2000 issue (all red) and on the front page was mention of "music at the time" (think that's what it said). Now I can't find it. By the way, it doesn't seem possible that I have been a member since 2003. I don't think that I wrote anything for a long time. Anyway, Happy 10th. Mel22odie

No chief, that is not the link. Went back to my history list and fortunately, still had the listing. It's "Gameboomers PC Games and Memorabilia". I wrote down the address which is quite long. I saved the internet page, I could send it to you if you would like. I missrecalled re: music, the quote was," Devoted to the music, fads, and historical events of this era," It was on the red cover.
