Thanks MaG! It should be right on target. I went through your walkthrough and it's pretty close to what I've done too.

Trying to get the panel open but the numbers change. Would anybody have a save after the panel on the geothermal motor. Thanks
Richard

Did you do the voice puzzle? If so it shouldn't be a problem pressing those numbers that "X" pronounces.

I already did the voice puzzle and he says to press #1 I don't know what buttons to press. They aren't marked like they should be. Looked for #1 but wasn't there. I press the first button and I get a 2 another button and a 4.

Richard,

If I am understanding you: X asked you to press a number. If you did it correctly, he'll ask for another number and then another.
If you're wrong, the panel will close.

I only heard one number maybe I didn't wait long enough to hear another one. Every time I press a number I get a different number. The numbers keep changing. I press a key and it takes me two or three tries to come up with the right number. He says one and I press the first button I think it has one dot on it but I get a three or a four. Thanks, MaG

Hi kjos

If I'm understanding you correctly there will be a series of about four numbers. If he said #1 press the first one if the next number is #4 press the forth one etc until he has finished. I can't really remember so hope I'm not confusing you even more! smirk Goodluck! luck

Thanks, Shy.

As explained by Shy - X will just keep on giving you numbers. So keep on pressing the correct button until X stops.
The numbers he gives are random.
From left to right: `1 2 3 4.

Hi all,
I am stuck at the laser/jaguar puzzle. I have matched the circuits on the left. I also consulted Mag's walkthrough which states... "See that the path of metals is still broken with no flow of electricity..." I see that. Am I correct to assume that the task is to make the current flow through the metal channels from left to right? I am confused by the picture and the direction to " Click on the top right red knob and the laser trap is set." One or many clicks of that button does not seem to make the current flow across, nor can I seem to make them line up when clicking all of the red buttons in various sequences. What am I doing wrong? Thanks bunches for any help I can get.

gaily,

After you place the circuits on correctly at left, do NOT touch any other buttons except the top right one or else the setup will change.
If it still did not have the laser on, then the circuits are not done correctly or you turned one of the leads (metal) on the right.
Go back to a saved game before you touch the puzzle - do the circuits correctly and then press that top right button.

Richard,

Glad you got through the control panel.
The large kiln is that place you palced the altitude pole on. It is that building that is first on the right when you are on this side of the muddy flats.
You are in the correct place I think.
Only Jep can climb the steps to the chimney of that kiln.
There is a fireplace at ground level. You do not enter the chimney to the fire. You can place something in there and it will melt and be poured on top of the fireplace below.
So go down the steps an change to Mina.

Gaily,
Look down and click on the mud (like going down). Mina will say no and Jep will do it.
Now - if you are not carrying Jep, you have to go pick him up where you left him.

Gaily,
Always carry Jep. It's easier that way. I like hugging him to gain energy for both.

msblueyes,
Your code or clue is 1860.
You have a set of 4 numbers shown at top.
You press the numbers that corresponds to the numbers on that squares so that they show at the bottom.

The code:
1 is 1.
8 is 2.
6 is 3
0 is 4.
Any other numbers aside for 1860 are 0.

Using the code above enter the number that corresponds to the one in your puzzle.

Tell me what your number is in that panel - then save it so it won't change.
