I'm on a Carol Reed Games Binge at the moment laugh

I played Remedy and Hope Springs Eternal some time ago but then for some reason missed Time Stand Still shocked
[Don't know how but anyway I've ordered it in so that's taken care of.]

Just finished East Side Story and now started The Colour of Murder thumbsup

I really hope these games continue. I love the way the background scenery is implemented and also feel the games are somehow "peaceful".

Although perhaps I should say mostly peaceful because I just had to cave in and get help with a saved game !!

These are beautiful games. The games do have a serenity about them, but there's always evil lurking somewhere in them too. I used to be surprised that the colorful environs in these games so easily harbor something dark -- the contrast is part of what is intriguing about the games, IMHO.

I sent them an email a couple months ago, to ask about something or other, and in that email conversation, he mentioned that he was busily working on the next one.

:DDDD Whoohoo!

I too love their games. After reading this thread I also emailed them and got immediate reply.
Release of the sixth Carol Reed mystery will be before the middle of November. So it will be easily ready before Xmas.

I'm just now finally getting to play some of East Side Story. Pretty fun little game and I'm still impressed with the painting type look of the locations.

I finished East Side Story last night and I really liked it. It had a nice feel to it. It's kind of hard to describe. It was almost like a world that you could just step right into. I liked the flirty gardener and the crazy mind reading guy.

I'll definitely be looking into more of these. Time Stand Still or The Colour of Murder will be next, I think.

I have never played any of the Carol Reed games. So I hope all of the discussion from everyone liking them, that these games are good! I just ordered four of them from Big Fish! lol Does anyone know why the Hope Springs Eternal isn't on Big Fish?

Shyty -- I can't find Hope Springs Eternal on Big Fish either. No idea why not.

My guess is yes they will, but we won't know for sure until it happens. They don't generally pre announce.

I love these games too! Although that janitor is one creepy dude! And yes, the gardener is very cute! I have the entire series and I am looking forward to the next one which will be "Black Circle" releasing in early November.

I love the Carol Reed series, too. I will not part with my games. I have all five and have already played them all again. I, too, find them peaceful. Something to go back to. I feel like I know my way all around Norkoping.

L bought the first 4 direct from the studio in Sweden. Loved every minute of them. Where is the best place to buy them now in Europe?

I always get them right from the authors. Support the people who make them, and I like to have the games on disc.
