Ana, I think you are becoming an enabler to my addiction. rotfl

Super game! Good graphics, interaction, story, IHOG, good puzzles. What can I say but thanks BFG for another goody. bravo

I agree, GBC! A keeper for sure. It is advertised as a HOG but it is definitely an IHOG. Or even light adventure.

thumbsup

Good music, graphics and story. Fast recovering hints. Oops I forgot to notice if there is a skip for minigames.

Someone here loves pipe games and there was one in the very first chapter. They were wires not pipes but same type of game. I quit after first chapter because I have some things to do. I'll finish and buy it later for sure.

Feast or famine it seems in the IHOG Dept. I guess BFG was saving them up for Octoberfest. Works for me!! Cheers.

I'm on a roll....got this one right away. I could see in about 10 miniutes it was for me. This winter is going to be a goodie with so many great games coming out. Let it rain, rain and snow. I will just watch it from the office window as I play games. We have 2 bird feeders and a squirrel feeder plus three houses and 2 suets on a fir tree just outside the office, I watch the wildlife and they watch me through the window.
A peaceful corner...........

Ok ,I'm stuck. On level 8-9 or 10-not sure which.
The big frog is sitting on top of a dragon-to the left is a spider web & I have a flask with potion in it. Supposed to create an illusion with the potion to scare the frog away, but it hasn't worked anywhere. Tried a hint twice, it just keeps saying "look around the room" Well, I've looked & clicked everywhere & nothing happens.
Any help much appreciated.

I loved the original Magic Academy and replayed it many times. Part II is new and improved and much more interactive with a definite 'adventure lite' touch. No W/T for me on this one - I'm enjoying figuring things out on my own. (Thank goodness for the generous hints though.) I played off and on all day yesterday and I'm still only halfway through it. Don't even bother with the demo. Just go directly to the 'buy' option.

Magic Academy II is my #1 purchase for Oktoberfest special - one down and only five to go. I've already purchased the credits and now my only dilemma will be which games to buy.

I hate to disagree Scarlet but I must. DO TRY THE DEMO! Some game just don't play right on some computers.

This game is a "Ditsy". Lots of varied tasks to do and great graphics....It can get challenging about chapter 17, I am struggling with a pinball type of mini-game that has me waiting for a kid to arrive....they usually proove to be much smarter than I with games. Guess I should have spent more time in the Poolhalls when I was growing up!!!!

I overall give it high marks on replay potential.

The pinball game was definitely difficult and I had to use all the bumpers to finish it, but I loved the challenge! I'm presently searching for that darn key to retrieve the mask I need. I have a fire rune so I'm off to play some more...

I am stuck here and I have checked the walkthrough which says:
• Click the outside in the bottom left corner in the screen.

• The silver arrow will then appear in the bottom left corner of the screen. Click the silver arrow to go back to the galley.

I click the bottom left corner of the screen and get a notice saying ''look around in the room'' no way out there so I tried to click the silver hands as it says to do that later in the walkthrough and I can't get that to work either. I can't get out of the secret room unless I go to main menue. What do I do now? Please help, I loved the first game and I thought this one was even better until now.

That's true NYLady, but if you buy a game from BFG and it doesn't play, their excellent Customer Service can usually solve the problem. Whether they solve the problem or not, they've always given me a free game credit. I've never lost money at BFG yet - they totally RULE the casual computer game world!

Yes, JennyP, I desperatly needed a skip button for thr fight with the demon. Can't play fast clicking games. Every tim I started clicking per walkthrough the demon took over and fireballed me. Needless to say I lost. And I wasn't any happier when that lovely smiling face said never mind, its not the end of the world, sorta thing, you can try again. No way. can't stand those sort of games. Next time I check the walkthrough first. Its really dissapointing to get to 95% and you can't skip a mini game thats spoiling the game. I really loved the first game and I thought this one was excellent until............

Hi Cowgirl,

You don't have to be fast with this part, you just need to be right. It's just like Simon Says, it gives you a sequence to follow and when you get it right, it throws a fireball ball at the demon. Then the demon throws one at you.

If you get yours right, you stay ahead of the demon, but if you get one or two wrong, then the demon will win.

However, the sequence does go fast, but you can take your time in responding. You just need to know the sequence. If you are using the walkthrough, I would make sure you have the right sequence to respond with. Maybe if you just pay attention to the first 2 or 3 lights it will; give you enough to be able to pick out the right one in the walkthrough.

It took me five or six tries before I got it without the walkthrough. I'm sure if you start off with the right sequence you will get it.

Ajsgirls, have you done all the steps below? (from the Big Fish WT)

Click to reveal..

* Click each object and place it in the proper location.

* The objects and their original places are circled in the same color.

* After replacing all the objects, a lamp with a red crystal will then come down from the ceiling.

* Click the red crystal and you will then see the secret door on the right side of the screen.

# Click the red crystal in the middle of the screen to move the stone sculpture on the right side of the screen.

# The stone sculpture will then move for a few seconds to reveal the secret door. While the door exists, click the brick circled in red in the image. The piece of ore will then appear; take it quickly.

# Place the piece of ore into the hollow area inside the stone sculpture on the right side of the screen. The key will then appear in the hollow area.

# Click the red crystal in the middle of the screen to move the stone sculpture on the right side of the screen.

# The stone sculpture will then move. Click the key from the inventory and drag it to the secret door to open it.

# After opening the door, click inside to go to the secret room.

# Click the dragon statue’s body to receive a message that is a suggestion to get the knife.

# Go back to the room by clicking the silver arrow in the bottom left corner in the screen, and click the wall to get the knife.

# Go to the secret room again and drag it to the knife from the inventory to the dragon’s body. You need to click three times with the knife.

# Click the outside in the bottom left corner in the screen.

# The silver arrow will then appear in the bottom left corner of the screen. Click the silver arrow to go back to the galley.

# Find the dried plant circled in red in the image.

# Click the secret room circled in green in the image to go back.

# Place the dried plant from the inventory in front of the statue.

# Drag the elixir of illusions from the inventory to the dried plant.

# Click the silver hands and click the silver arrow in the bottom left corner in the screen to go to the galley.

# In the galley, click the brown bottle in the upper right corner in the screen.

# Back to the secret room on the right side of the screen.

# Place the brown bottle from the inventory to the silver hands.

# Place the spider web in upper left corner in the screen to the silver hands.

# Back to the galley again.

# Find the purple flower circled in red and the rug circled in green in the image. These may only be taken back to the other room one at a time. After using one you will have to come back for the next one.
