I wanted to apologize for posting the link to I-Play that caused some of you so much trouble!
Like you all, I absolutely **HATE** to have my browser changed, so I can well imagine how you feel! In fact, I feel so strongly about it I wouldn't even install BFG's games toolbar.
Because I do feel so strongly about this, though, I am SUPER careful when I install ANY program, games or otherwise. I elected out of these changes during the installation process when I downloaded from I-Play, but I think maybe some of you inadvertently didn't.
A lot of programs are doing this these days, though, and not just games, so I thought it might be helpful to illustrate what you might want to watch out for in the future.
With respect to I-Play, the default installation setup screen looks like this:

If, like me, you don't want to make I-Play your homepage or Yahoo! your search engine, you should elect Custom and then uncheck those options. The preferred installation setup screen, then, looks like this:

Hopefully the below will help:
TO CHANGE YOUR INTERNET EXPLORER HOMEPAGE:
In Internet Explorer click on Tools, then click on Internet Options. Under the General tab is the Home Page section, which contains a text box where you can type in the URL of whatever homepage you want.
TO CHANGE FROM YAHOO! AS YOUR DEFAULT SEARCH PROVIDER:
In Internet Explorer click on Tools, then click on Internet Options. Under the General tab you will see Search (under the Home Page and Browsing History sections). Click on the "Settings" button and from there you can change, enable or disable any search provider listed. If your preferred search provider isn't listed, click on "Find more search providers" at the bottom of the box.
I really hope this helps anyone who may still be having trouble! I know of people who don't want to install any game programs, including the BFG Game Manager program, because of things like this, so I truly hope this helps to put everyone right!
P.S. I was disappointed to hear that BFG will not be getting future Agatha Christie and Women's Murder Club games as they are among my favorites.
Perhaps a developer affiliated with BFG will work on a game series from Anne Perry's Thomas and Charlotte Pitt books, a similar series that I think could be adapted along similar lines for casual gaming - hint, hint, hint!
