I played a game, Great Journey: Mr. Penguin's Letter, back in July, 2006 (I have a list of games I've played and when, so I looked it up) and it was for children around 8 to 10, and it was a fun game that could be played as a girl or boy. There some arcade scenes in it that I think would have been easier for kids than they were for me. As an adult, I remember trying to solve some problems by looking for some complicated solution that a child would most likely have no trouble doing. They would do the obvious to them thing, which took me some time to see. In fact at one very simple puzzle where a child wouldn't even see a problem (just follow the big footstep as a matter of course) I saw danger and needed help from another player to get it right. I played this game on an older computer, not my XP, and I don't know the specs. It was by a company that made mostly children's games, so if you find it, there would be other games to check out.
