I am at the Monkey Center playing the 3 games with the monkeys to get the Compass. I have won approx. 20 games with prizes (got the colored dial)but I'm not getting the compass. Does anyone know what I have to do?

Johnny should ask for a compass first.
He should say that it is with the notched eared monkey.
You then should know which one is the notched ear monkey by reading Sonny Joon's book that describes the game and the monkeys.
It is the one on the left - coconut game.

yes I have played the coconut game at least a dozen times, but the compass isn't in the prizes I get.
maybe I have to go back and make sure he said that...

I double checked and I did do the step of talking to Johnny about the compass...I just won a couple more games with the coconuts and no compass... I have basket with stapler,cup,comb,shells,fruit...no compass

I did talk to Johnny...I'm getting a collection of things in basket in inventory but no compass. I show in the upper left corner a fruit,,don't know what that is for

Johnny wants his compass in exchange for the loan of his metal detector. So (if you haven't already done so) be sure to have read the decoded page of the journal which mentions the Caridad wreck, and also the book in the basket by the sofa back at the resort.

thanks...I did read the book by the sofa about El Toro..etc. I also decoded the message. How many times should I have to win the coconut game to get the compass?....ummm I don't remember if I read the notes I'll go check thank you....I did go back and red the book in the basket...then talked to Johnny again and it worked this time...thanks alot

Did you also read Sonny Joon's notes which mention the notch-eared monkey? That way Nancy will know which monkey has the compass.

Once you've seen/read everything necessary then it only takes one win of the coconut game to get the compass.

I'm afraid I need more help on Nancy Drew Ransom of the Seven Ships. I'm doing the dive down to the Caridad for the Easter Egg. I get the clicking from the metal detector and I get the shovel to dig and it lights up (a hand print is on the spot) but nothing happens. Any ideas?
I have the 9 pieces of the papers from the bottles.

You don't need to take the shovel from inventory to use it. Just right-click on the hand icon when it appears, and Nancy will dig automatically.
