Thanks for letting us know about this new game, Ana. I loved the first Clumsys. It was a nice length and had good interactive parts. I am off to download it now.

I' surprised nobody is commenting on this game. It's a fun game lots of parts to find and things to put together, It seems to be a bit more callenging than the last one. I only got to the 5th invention in the first hour so it looks like a decent length with 30 inventions to replace.

Thanks FloNS! Glad you are enjoying it. I was one of the few who did not enjoy the first one, but I'll give this one a shot.

Jackie, are you enjoying it?

Well, Ana, this one is harder than the last one. I like it. I am using a lot of hints to find the pieces. But I am learning a lot about inventors and their inventions which is a good way to pass your time in a game. I will wait to buy it till Monday to start my punch card out with it and the Nick Chase game.

I liked the first one, so I went ahead and got this one.(It will make my 6th punch). I have also been enjoying it, although it took me a little while to figure out. The only thing I don't know is how to find the gadget parts? I found the fire parts, but dont know if the parts are part of the listed objects to find, or did I just randomly click on them.

I need one more game and this isn't it. I don't care for it and I can't even explain why... just don't like the subject, and I was a big confused as to what I was supposed to do. I'm not a mechanical person at all.Finding objects is one thing gadgets... another.

I need one more but to buy another just to get another free doesn't make much sense... unless it's a game I really enjoy.

The parts to the gadgets are randomly placed and they are in the lists I believe. It can take the whole game before you have them all. The gadget icon wil let you know when you have enough parts to finish a gadget. However you can check it out and place whatever parts you have before you have them all. In the first five inventions, I was able to finish one gadget.

When you find a part it will go in the gadget place.

Thanks FloNS. I wasn't sure how I managed to get the parts for the fire gadget. I think my brain is on HOG overload (I play 2-3 games at the same time).confused

I really liked the first Clumsys game, so I was excited to try the new one. Good grief! The instructions are minimal and the hidden objects are broken into pieces. Unlike the Mortimer Beckett type games, the pieces from this game are just blue blobs and you have to guess what it might be and what it's used for. Even after I find a piece, I'm not sure what it was. Ditto with the 'gadget' pieces. I made it through the first invention and the second was just as confusing at which point I decided this game was not for me.

I played through the first two episodes with my 9 year old grandson today, and he loved it! Definately buy this one, Grandpa, he said, and we'll pick up where we left off at my next visit. It was a bit hard, more so for me than him, but he really enjoyed the assembling and learning about the inventions, particularly the projector. We just got to the phonograph when dinner was ready, and he was quite intrigued by my albums and turntable which he'd never really thought about before. One of the nice little games near the end of a chapter is to find the modern objects that didn't belong a hundred years ago, or so. With 30 chapters, this will last us a good while and affords educational and pleasant time together. Well worth $6.99!

Scarlet Dragon,

The items on the bottom are the whole parts of the invention that need to be put together. The items on top are the different pieces of those parts. The top row will show you what pieces you will find in any particular search area that sparkles and also the room which is another search area. When you put your cursor on a sparkling spot it will show you how many pieces there are to find. There will also be parts to the gadgets. It will only show the pieces available for the particular search area you are in.

Hope this helps a bit.

I bought it and really enjoyed it until I got to chapter 25,one of the improper items is not there! It must be a glitch I hate to have to start it over again, any one else have this problem?

I may not have gone where I intended to go,but I think I have ended up where I need to be.
