Hi Gang.

I am in the Laboratory trying to put the finished solution in an "empty decanter." I have a bluish "small decanter" but can't find an empty decanter. Is it in the room with the water and the shelves with the filled bowls? I've tried filling the small decanter but it doesn't work. What am I missing?

Hi Witchen,

There should be an empty decanter on a shelf when you turn to the right while facing the bowls with ingredients.
I think it is bluish.

When you finish the preparation, you click that decanter on the bowl to take the solution.
But this will happen only if he says that the solution is 'done'.

I'm sure he said the solution was done, but the small bluish decanter won't accept the finished solution. I'll go back to my save and come through this Laboratory puzzle again. I am stumped.

Be sure that you have read all 3 scrolls before you make the solution. That might be one reason.

Okay. I'll make sure I do that.
I did just scan them.

Okay, Mags...it worked this time. I'm not sure what the trigger is, because as it turned out I had read the scrolls. But, when I reached for the decanter, it is now an "empty decanter" rather than a "small" decanter and the lid is off this time. I must have done something else wrong the first time.
