I haven't been able to figure this out and I am afraid of duplicating a game I have. I checked Moby Games and Amazon, and they seem to be different... and also... very similar.

I'm confused (as usual). crazy

Thanks!

I dont own either game but looking at screenshots it looks alot like the same game, it might just be the american/european names for the game.

No - not 2 different names for the same game.
2 completely different stand alone games.
There is doubtless great similarity in the screenshots since both games are set in the same island of Capri.
Anacapri is the sequel. I played it but not the former which many people seem to have enjoyed more. Anacapri is indeed a very complex gam.

I'm so happy to hear you say that, harhan3. I played Anacapri a few years ago and loved it. That's where I first learned to play scopa, and I've continued since then at scopacards.com.

I bought A Quiet Weekend last week on EBay. I'm going to re-play Anacapri now while I'm waiting for the very slow mail delivery. A week to 10 days from Texas! Really, must have something to do with getting cleared at customs

Anyway, Raj, you won't be disappointed with either game

Menuhum, thanks so much for the Scopa link I loved that game and kept the game loaded along time after I played it, to just play that game,
I also am glad to hear these are two different games, I played Anacapri also, I have the other one, but for some reason it didnt load right,
I thought one was a differnt language of the same game, now I might try to get it loaded again,
and Scopa, is one of the most fun card games I have ever played loved it smile
