Early in the game, in the room of rare plants, I had to use 16 bowls to collect 16 plants.
By accident I filled two bowls with the same plant.

Now I'm near the end of the game and I have 15 plants and no bowls and am of course missing one ingredient for the fragrance recipe, the Kassite bark. The strange thing is that the Kassite bark is identified lying on the floor (it doesn't say 'ochre powder' anymore).
Is there any way to find another 'recipient', or is this really a dead end?

thanks

Try to discard the contents in the trash bin left of the bowls and get more. See if that works.

It's not possible to discard the contents. There are 15 bowls fixed in place and an empty spot for the last bowl that should contain the Kassite bark. But I don't have any bowls left.

thanks

Hi HandsFree,

I think this is a game bug, as a few members have had problems with disappearing bowls.

Looking back through old threads, psychoteacher said:

I went back and reloaded a previous save and found that you can really goof yourself up and use up your bowls the wrong way if you click on any of the big unbroken bowls on the shelf twice. You have to use the bowls on the spilled herbs on the floor and shelves - they're the ones that Thomas says he already has, but he will let you waste all of your bowls on the unbroken containers of herbs without even a warning.

Would you like a save game past this point? smile

smashpc Yes, that's exactly what happened. Looks like I've got some replaying to do.
Thanks for the offer, but I'm too stubborn to use a save. crazy smile

Okey doke. Good luck with the replay - hope it doesn't take you too long to get back to where you were.
