Morning, folks!
Now, to answer some of your questions above:
Price and versions--------------------------
There are
three products of The Clockwork Man: The Hidden World - Ultimate Edition at our site.
The $6.99 versions you find is a SE that lacks the extra chapter. At our site, we do not offer the game with extra gameplay cut out.
DRM--------------------------
DRM stands for digital rights management. It encompasses all security measures implemented by digital rights holders to make sure their property is not copied illegally.
DRM usually takes the form of file managers/downloaders (i.e. BFG managers), special cd protection or internet connection requirements. Serial Numbers are also a form of protection.
While these acts do not do much against software piracy, IMHO they manage to frustrate legitimate buyers.
We offer our games (from our site)
without DRM or serial numbers. You download a file and it's yours. You won't need to save special files or use a manager or hunt serial numbers or hardware fingerprints.
The Skip Button--------------------------
The Clockwork Man: The Hidden World, akin to adventure games, does not have a skip button for puzzles. It has, however, a very intuitive hint system that is progressive. It will nudge you to the right direction and not spoil the fun for you. If you do get stuck, it will usually solve each puzzle and show you the moves.
You have no penalties for taking a hint nor does it take longer to recharge afterwards.
I hope this helps
Take care,
