Played the demo and my computer froze after completing one of the jigsaw puzzles. I noticed that over at the BF forum that others have had this problem as well. I'm always relieved when others share my woe.

That being said, I was really enjoying the dark nature of this game. It is kind of quirky in a sinister way.

Not everyone has encountered this problem with the game. I hope BF posts a "fix" so I can purchase.

Now this is a strange, weird game...and actually it is kind of fun. See from you Jeanne that there are problems, so I guess I'll wait until they are ironed out before buying...but I just might. It is dark, but it is also kind of comical at the same time...not ha ha, but heh heh!

I snapped this one up right away. If it's as good as the first "Redrum", I'll be pleased. Glad to see BFG include a warning re: content. Not for kids or someone who doesn't like dark themes or images.

I've probably downloaded and tried the original Redrum three times but just can't get into it. I don't like the graphics and the color scheme in the first game, what with all those garish neon colors.

This new one seems better in regards to the color scheme and graphics, but I just can't bring myself to like it. It certainly isn't because I have an aversion to scary games either, as normally I really enjoy those.

So, it's not for me, but there are plenty of folks who do seem to like it a lot. smile

Is this part of a series? I don't like jumping into the middle of a series.

Redrum: Time Lies is the sequel to the original Redrum, which is also on Big Fish. I believe at least two of the characters carry over from the first game to the second one.

I feel exactly like Marian. Couldn't enjoy the first game's demo and the new one either. Just not my kind of a game, though I like the spooky games.

I don't care for some of the graphics, such as the poor bodies strapped to the tables. However, if you can move beyond that, the game is actually quite good in how it is played.

I am enjoying it. It's not a linear game and you need to find objects in other rooms in order to save someone in another part of the building. So, you are kept going back and forth, looking for things needed elsewhere.

I would say it is much better than the first one and you don't really need to have played the first one, to understand what is happening here.

It surely is different!!! Personally, I find the theme different and refreshing. It's just a game and in my opinion should not be taken so seriously. Actually it's a good ihog. I bought. Teddo

When I put the last jigsaw puzzle piece in place the demo locked my system I had to power down. When I got back into the game of course it made me start the puzzle over but I had no time left to finish. I don't think I want to buy the game then have it freeze on me again.

I had a tiny bit of trouble with the 'custom cursor' Neat skeleton hand, but it moved so slow and jerky, so I switched back to my regular cursor and everything speeded up normally. Might be cause my machine is older than some. I'm enjoying this one so far, although it is a bit more 'gruesome' than the first one. eek

I liked the demo and bought it. It's a very long game if you don't skip the puzzles. Lots of jigsaws. Graphics are fantastic - not scary but creepy.

Would appeal to those who have personalities like those of 12-13 year old boys. My grandkids will love it --- I can just hear them now --- "eeeuww, look at that!"

OKAY ----I take it all back. I started this game and was having a really good time. Then for me, it began to become tedious. I felt that if I encountered one more jigsaw puzzle or tile swap mini-game I would scream. The tile swap is too tiny. I enjoyed the "in your face" horror, but it became tiresome. Teddo

Is anyone catching the subtle humor throughout this game? "Yoga Instructor Folds" "Folds" "GROAN, that's real bad.

To follow up, as it turns out this is the first game I've downloaded from BFG that I ended up dumping before I finished it. Lots of cool features to this game and fun gameplay - except for the lengthy time it takes to skip puzzles. The turn-off for me was the graphic nature of many of the images. I'm not one who's averse to creepy, dark games. I've played plenty of adventure games and IHOG's with dark themes, graveyards, dead bodies, etc. But the skeletal bodies in this one were just more than I could stomach.
