I mentioned in an earlier post how I was having a lot of trouble downloading BF games. It was taking 4+ hours and then would get stuck on saving file. I had contacted BF tech support and initially the fix they gave me worked, but alas, eventually went back to the same problems.
Not only was I having trouble with download speeds but also streaming videos. You Tube became useless.
SSSoooo, I contacted my ISP and what do ya know! They sent out a tech and we had a problem on our line! A few little tweeks and a new modem to replace our more than antiquated one and we are smoking now! I can download a BF game in 15 minutes now! WOOHOO! And buffering in streaming video is a distant memory.
Why the heck did I wait so long to straighten this thing out? I must thrive on misery...
Anyway, just a heads up for others that may be having similar problems...check with your ISP. I love our ISPs tech support, they're the best!
