OK... I noticed that Mystery Trackers: Void has an update on the game manager... I started to download it, but paused it....

The last time this happened I downloaded the fix and had to start the game all over again.. I was quite far in the game and it was very frustrating- the game is playing perfectly...

Can anyone tell me what the update deals with?
Do I need it? I really don't want to update unless I have to because I don't want to start all over again.

The update fixes the following:

Chapter 3: The user can become blocked from navigating to the car scene after the tree falls on the bridge.

-Chapter 4: Listening to the bear twice and collecting the post card causes the mail box vignette to close – blocking access to the key.

-Chapter 4: Occasionally, after accessing the intercom mini-game, the dials will not turn and the skip button fails to work.

Some players, but not all, experienced these glitches, so you may come across them or you may not. You will need to start a new profile after downloading this new version in order to access the updates.

For what it's worth - I never download the fixes unless I need them.

NYLady, I downloaded the fix when I was very close the end. I had no problems. I started right where I left off and finished the game.

NYLady, I was just about at the end also when I downloaded the fix. I, too, started right where I left off with no interuption.

Glad everyone was able to continue on and finish the game; apparently, you didn't need the update. The people who did have problems with those glitches are the ones who would have needed to start over.

I finished the game without the update and didn't have any problems at all. If you haven't encountered any glitches so far, I wouldn't bother with the update. If you happen to run into a glitch, then you can download the update.
