Here's yet another game delay for us gamers. Amazon's estimated arrival date of the
pc/dvd rom of Tales of Monkey Island is Jan. 24 - Feb. 23, 2011. Bah Humbug!

I've had my DVD for months from TellTale. You can get it there.

I've also seen it for sale on eBay in the last two months. I notice that one person on the Amazon Marketplace has it for sale as well. It was out for a while; it sounds like it is now going to be out of stock for a bit unless you purchase it directly from TellTale.

Those of you who own this series did you enjoy it as much as the original Monkey Island games?

SQ, I've only gotten around to playing the first episode, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how well TellTale captured the spirit and the humor of the original Monkey Island games. On the basis of having played the first episode, I can heartily endorse it!

Yes, I did enjoy it as much. I thought they did a spectacular job at keeping the flavor of the originals.

You get both. You buy the downloads and you get the DVD with all of them on there.

Well I loved the original series so this is a must for me. I do want the disc version though.

Okie dokey...Ana. Five bucks more on Telltale for both versions without the wait. It might be worth it!

I, too, will say that Tales of Monkey Island is a good "modernised" Monkey Island experience
