I am sort of wishing that developers would start to use other themes besides the spooky other worldly themes. The ones that are done well are still really good games and fun but I am beginning to tire of these themes. How about a good murder mystery like the Murder She Wrote game or another fav of mine Valerie Porter the Scarlet Scandal. I know I am a bit biased since I love a good mystery. It just doesn't seem to be a ton of variety lately.

It does seem to happen in groups doesn't it? I like all kinds but I like to mix them up. I'd love to see a light hearted fun one thrown in.

I agree. I would like a game that is mystery, but funny too. I can always use a good laugh.

A butler would be awesome. I like variety and a funny one would be nice. I enjoyed the IHOG based on the Great Gatsby.

Vampires are in vogue now so it makes sense to capitalize on this when the game is done well.

Ramona; You just made me think of a game I have played. It had a butler, mansuion, etc.
I can't remember the name of it. I got it from BFG. I just went through my purchase history and nothing jumped to mind. Can you or anyone provide the name of one that looked like the Great Gtsby mansion? The butler was a great character with an attuide.

Gardenscapes and Vampireville both have butlers in them who are amusing. I remember the butler in Vampireville talking about how he needed to go check his email. grin12

I played Vampireville, he was pretty amusing. Although it was a vampire theme, it was lighthearted I thought.

My favorite character in Vampireville was the ghost St Bernard. He said the cutest and funniest things.

It was the butler in Vampireville that just struck me as a hoot. His demeaner, his voice, AND his going to check his email (thanks Marian)were so funny and so entertaining. I remember him so well... rotfl12

Oh-got a big kick out of that butler in Vampireville! I love the Spooky/Creepy games so would like to have more of them...But also love Mystery games as well....so maybe they'll keep making more of each! Not less of one of them.

Here I was complaining about not enough mystery thems for IHOGs and forgot that BFG does have adventure titles so downloading the 3rd Art of Mystery. I will I gotta think that this a phase and developers are working on other themes for HOGs/IHOGs. Since casual games are so popular, there's ton of themes and storylinrs to explore.

Thanks for the feedback smile
