Just about to start playing the demo now, Ana.

Hmmm - This does seem to be a good game - maybe I am tired, but I am not finding it easy to progress, but of course we dont want these games to be too easy. I really didnt get very far in the one hour!

And I had a small problem. Whenever I picked something up from my inventory, I couldnt put the darn item down again!

I will wait for futher comments about this game, but I do feel inclined to buy it....

I loaded the demo and only heard about three sentences from the intro scene before the sound started looping and the game froze.

Not so appealing.

I had no technical problems during the half hour of the demo I played. It's obvious that the developers put a lot of time and thought into the game, but for some reason it just didn't grab me. It seemed a bit bleak and a little bit too "busy." I do think a lot of folks will enjoy the game. newyear

Thats why I am reserving my judgement on this one, Marian - really not sure at all. I wondered was it just me, or the game? No interactive map, which I believe would have helped a lot.

Also whenever it said "loading", the music was very choppy for me.

Hi, Marian!

I just finished the demo and it's not for me either. The graphics are excellent but, like you, I thought it was too busy.

There is a map but it is further along in the game after you get more watch parts. I have been enjoying it a lot. rah

I am still very tempted to buy it, cos I like the story line and how the pocket watch "materialises" things etc - thats quite inventive.

I think I will wait until Kathy has finished the game....

I really enjoyed the story and it had an ending that allows for a sequel but is an end to this story. I will be playing it again soon. I enjoyed the characters and the voice acting. I did need to get hints to find a few things and used the blog walkthrough once. I enjoyed the mini games and thought that they fit well with the story. Hope this is helpful Rosaboobie.

oh now, oh no

I've been playing the game and having fun - I like it a lot - now I'm in the museum scenes, and everything disappeared

when I start up again, there is nothing in Profiles, and it looks like I'm starting from the beginning again

waaaaahhhh - can you suggest something, please?

Janice

Janice, I see you are not alone. I checked the BFG forum and it happened to others. I would contact their support since so far there doesn't seem to be a solution. sad

Just completed the game. No problems. I'd describe it as an adventure game with some (about 6) HOG screens. Fairly inventive, enjoyable outing. There are 12 mini-game puzzles to play. Hints reload quickly. All puzzles can be skipped.
I'm on Win 7 64 bit.

Carlahelp, there's a note here in this thread on Big Fish that provides some useful information about the last clock puzzle. Maybe this would be of help until puzzler or someone else comes along. luck

There are 4 gears round each clock. 2 control hour hand movement, 2 control minute hand movement. I found it best to concentrate on one hand and set it, then on the other. It's a bit tricky getting he right movement speed to mesh both hands and second hand to zero.

I'm sorry but I will have to give up. I have tried until I am tooo frustrated. I guess (like Azada and the robot) I will never finish it. I wish they had put in a set sequence or a skip button. My mind isn't too good right now to do this.

Thanks all anyway.

Oh...I hated that chess game. Three times I had an entire cadre of chess pieces on my side of the board, but still lost on the last sequence. How are you supposed to remember that many spots on a black and white chess board? And the sequence is played only once...then changes!!!! Finally got it on the 4th try playing with a full board.

Did I miss a lot of that game? Was the chess puzzle near the end of the game, do you know?

The chess puzzle was in Chapter 21. The game had 25 chapters, so you were close to the end as the chapters were pretty short, Rosy.
