Hi

The baddie now has his gun trained on me and I'm supposed to be solving the "cannons in the swamp" puzzle.
But as I don't understand how to solve it, I could get shot any minute !!

I have the full map now and I know where the cannons are but I've no idea how to work out how many times I need to click each of the Roman numerals on the actual cannons ....

And that's after looking at two walkthroughs

Can anyone please offer a definitive explanation ??

There's a good explanation of the cannons here on the Big Fish forums. If this doesn't clarify things, I'm sure someone here can try to provide a better explanation.

I was stuck for three evenings on this puzzle, Mad. Then Guybrush posted this:

I finally figured out the cannons and map. You have to search the map to find the images that match the 6 tabs that are between the symbols on the cannon and write down the roman numerals. Then click on the buttons on the cannons in order. Six sets of numbers for each cannon.

Ok it takes about ten minutes to do this, Mad, but its well worth the effort.

You will, you will. I worked for 3 evenings on this puzzle, and then it only took about 10 minutes to sit down and work with Guybrush' method - If I managed it, then you will also!

I haven't had time to play since my last post here - but I'm sure I will manage the cannons now - with all the help I've been given
