This game comes from the same developer as The Seawise Chronicles: Untamed Legacy.

I'm reading on the Big Fish forums that the game has elements of a HOG, a FROG, and an IHOG, but can't confirm this as I haven't tried the demo yet.

I'll be interested to hear what other players think of it. wave

I just finished chapter 3 in the trial period. There doesn't seem to be any FROG element to the game, but you do have to combine items every now and then to finish a task.

The graphics are clear, the HO scenes are cluttered but not too hard to navigate. The puzzles are so-so, not too easy and not so hard.

The story line is different. There a bonus chapter so it's probably about a 3hr game maybe more.

Not a bad game, it does keep you interested.

Okay. I'm interested. BUT, the little girl crying "Mommy" is getting to me. Does this eventually stop? (I'm about 20 mins. into the demo.)

I agree Sparkle, the "Mommy, Mommy" really bugs me too. Also I didn't like the sparkle in advanced mode and the inability to pick up an item when I saw it. But there wasn't a lot of rooms, at least so far, so it was like a memory game to remember where that item was. I did use a punch card credit after the hour demo cause I did like the weird angles, like Twilight Zone and it was interesting enough in a weird way to keep me wanting to know what is going on. I just can't believe though that I am leaving a woman to sleep while my child is missing, that did bug me too. Oh well, off to play more and see what is going on.

I had to download the flash player and restart the game. Made a big difference.

EDIT: I don't understand the title, how does it fit the story? It ended the way I expected.

Any idea why Granny could see and hear Jennifer's ghost? Apparently the landlord couldn't.

I am really enjoying this game and storyline. I like putting things together. The hidden objects are done good. I have a pet peeve we can't pick things up unti needed than we backtrack. Still I love the shadows appearing when you least expect it. I bought the game and don't regret it. Try it you might like it is my suggestion.

Yes this was the first Big Fish game I've played where the version of Flash player made such a difference.

Does anybody know what the child is saying whenever a hidden object is found? It sounds like "it's snowing," which I'm sure is wrong. Thanks.

I've seen a discussion on the Big Fish forums about this, Laurette. Some folks thought it sounded like the voice was saying the word "found" in French, which sounds like troo-vey). I don't know if there is a definitive answer to this question or not; maybe someone has figured it out for sure. smile

Yep; I took 6 years of French, but I wasn't sure how to make the accent mark for the word so wrote it out phonetically instead. smile
