HELLO GAME BOOMERS, ITS A LONG TIME SINCE I HAVE CONTACTED YOU; MY LATEST PROBLEM IS WITH MYST 4"..... IN "SERENIA" CHAPTER 5, PART 2: I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE BUBBLES WHICH I HAVE TO PRESENT ONE TO THE WATER GUIDE.
I CAN CATCH A BUBBLE BUT DONT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO GET TO THE POND WHERE THE WATER GUIDE IS SUPPOSED TO BE......CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE. IDEALY I WOULD LIKE TO BY-PASS THIS; I HAVE BEEN PERSEVERING FOR SO LONG WITHOUT SUCCESS !!!

I don't have a save for you, but I can give you an advice:
You should find the nearest bubble source to the water guide. This could take some time.
So - first of all find out where he is (you can hear him - try not to scare him off!), and then get to the nearest bubble source (I think it is 3-4 steps max!), and carefully approach him with the bubble.
If you do that it should work...
There's definitely definitely definitely no logic to human behaviour.

Joy this is a tough part of the game. Once you scare the God it takes a long time for him to reappear. I found by saving the game just before I grab a bubble I could restart at that point. Good Luck with this part. Sorry I don't have a saved game for you.

Hi Joy,
Yes, the key is to find the bubble source that is within 4 clicks of the Water Guide (water spout). Then you have to walk gingerly and quickly (but no sudden turns) till you get to the water spout, then click on it with the bubble... you'll know you are successful if there are sparks.
If you'd like some help, the routine is to send me the most recent save, I'll solve it, then return the save so you can continue where you left off, with your game progress intact.
