just hit a snag- In jacks apartmet-it's the hook puzzle ,i just put in the allen wrench in the 5th hole ,the hooks are numbered 1-5 i have the number of turns per hook now with that do I start with #4 hook or what hook# do i start with??any thoughts on this? happydance

Check the paper you got with the Allen wrench. It is color coded and shows the order to turn the hook.
Yes - you start with the 4th from left as shown by #1 in the paper.
The direction to turn it to is shown by the color - coded based on the compass picture. luck

thanks i will do that! i did start with #4 hook,but will go back and see , .
I went back -now check this-1st hook to turn is #4black-2nd is #2 hook 3rd is #3 and the 4th is #5hook and the last hook to turn is#1 -is that the order? the color black,blue,green,pink and red is the last..right? crazy

Hi deleterman,

Turn the hooks in this order:

5th hook Red to SW
2nd hook Blue to NW
3rd hook Green to SE
1st hook Black to W
4th hook Pink to NE

back again-doing the safe puzzle. i get the 1st 4 numbers ok,hear click but on the last number nada..what gives? any thought on this? help

You could try backing out of the puzzle and going to another location, then return and see if you get a different number set.

Or perhaps going back to an earlier save game would do it, if you have one close enough?

thanks-on the 1st saved game that you sent didn't have the wheel that should have been taken from the safe.now on the 2nd save game that you sent had just (1)0018 aom and not with the other..? any thoughts on this? crazy

Did you click the handle to see if the safe can now be opened?

I do not understand what you mean by "(1)0018 aom and not with the other..".
I sent 2 files in that mail: one is the .aom and the other is the picture.

thanks,i think i did but i will go back and see if i can open the safe. i clicked on the safes handle and it said that the door is blocked...? any thought on that? and it was on the last number !! but anyway went back to the last saved game that you gave me and got that working good so now off and running like a wild dog . thanks rah thumbsup devilchili

thanks to your saved game I just finised the game !! no hurry it was just 9 days..when i was 3 year younger it only was less than a week..again thanks guys for all your help and putting up with me.... happydance devilchili
