Looks like a good one. Elephant makes excellent quality games. And this one appears to be of CE quality. Not to mention that the bonus punch card points make it even more enticing. happydance

I think this must take the cake for the biggest file size for a regularly priced game that isn't a large file adventure, but then this is from Elephant Games so I shouldn't be all that surprised (the same folks who have brought us Grim Tales: The Bride and the Mystery Trackers games). grin

Downloading game now, played 5 minutes of demo and decided to use game credit, this is the longest I've waited to use a credit, I think I'm finally becoming stable in my game purchases.

This game is getting rave reviews on the BF forum.

I used my punch card on this one. Played about ten minutes and bought it. Great game.

talk about a long game this is it. Been playing off and on all day about five hrs or so. Looked at the WT and still have a lot to go. What a great game, and didn't cost me anything. I can't imagine anybody not liking it.

It sounds like it could have been a CE. Nice to have a standard-edition price tag. wave

I downloaded the demo but the game crashes back to the desktop like all my others. I'm going crazy. This is the first time I have had trouble with BF. I uninstalle4d the game manager and reinstalled but still have the problem. Hope BF support gets back to me soon.

Gail, I have since learned that many people are having this problem; it may be a file-server malfunction/network issue on Big Fish's end, and they are looking into it now. Hang in there.

I didn't have any trouble with the game I can't figure why some people have trouble. Using IE 8. win xp. Shouldn't make any difference.

There's a lengthy thread on the Big Fish forums right now entitled, "All Games Crashing." Big Fish is looking into it and I will post any updates when I see any.

Gail, I would be going into withdrawal too! eek I wanted to make sure that you knew you weren't alone in your problem. wave

Sorry to derail the topic of conversation away from Urban Legends, but a mod just posted about the crashing issue and here is the update:

Quote:
Just jumping in to let you know that we are looking into the issue.
While we are still investigating I wanted to give you a quick update.

It appears that McAfee anti virus software had an update recently that may have been automatically applied to some peoples computers.

This update appears to be causing issues with our games.

We are looking into the matter now to verify the possible causes and will update you as soon as we know more.

I am so loving this game.
My computer went to hardware heaven three weeks ago after a nasty power surge, so I just got my spankin' new system up yesterday.

I have been experiencing Felix withdrawal symptoms, but this game has brought me back from the edge. Wonderful graphics, lots of adventure elements, not an over abundance of hidden object scenes.

Yay Elephant Games!
Jeanne

Looks Like I have been talked into another game. Think I will use my credit on it.

Sorry to be repetitive, but I can't believe how long this game is. And the mini-games just keep getting more challenging as the game progresses. I can't believe this game didn't debut as a CE. But I'm not complaining. grin I hereby declare this game the best game of the year. smile

Wow, Sparkle, I just picked this game up with a punch card credit and I'm looking forward to playing it even more now. I can't believe the game wasn't released first as a CE, either, but I think it's terrific that Elephant Games offered this for the regular price. happydance

Ramona, coming to this forum and reading what other people have to say about games can be hazardous to your wallet. grin

Just finished playing and it's really a long game. It didn't seem like it would ever end. Was longer than any CE I've played. Glad it was a SE. Used my punch card. Quite a few HO but you can random click.

This thing is one blasted mini-game after another. Remind me never to buy another Elephant game if I want to keep my sweet disposition.

And every time I close out it's moved two of the icons on my desktop! Grrr!

Gil.
