This seems to be more adventure than HOG (in the initial stages of the game, anyway). I've played about 35 minutes of the demo and only come across one HOG scene. The game offers three levels of difficulty to choose from when you start. Puzzles so far have been fun. If you liked Playpond's Mystery Legends: Phantom of the Opera, it's a pretty safe bet that you will like this too. There's also a very nice map as well as a journal. I think this will be a very good game. wave

Agree with Marian. This is another visually beautiful game.

Just finished the demo, and this does indeed seem to be a beautifully produced game.

Hi, Marian!

Between "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Maze", looks like I'm gonna be earning another free game this weekend lol !

Lovely game but the strategy guide is hopeless, I hope someone does a walkthrough soon, please. I can't find the pieces for the well which the SG says are in the town square, shop street and toy shop. Okay but where....? I thought a SG was supposed to help.
Feeling my age..

Thanks suzie07 I found them eventually but I am spending hours looking for things, it feels like it anyway. Now am having trouble finding the symbals over the doors in the castle. The SG just tells me I kneed them, not my idea of help.

Hi, Johnnycowgirl!

I've only had to use the Strategy Guide once (coincidentally it was to find the last piece of the well puzzle) and it gave me the exact location. If you're still having problems, go to the locations specified in the Strategy Guide and then click on the "Hint" button, and it will circle any hidden inventory items.

I hope this helps.

Susan

I finished the game last night (I pretty much played all day yesterday). The bonus game took me a little over an hour and I did use some hints (but bear in mind that I am also a slow player). The bonus play isn't essential to the game but I enjoyed it and am glad that I didn't miss out on it. I will be able to replay this game again in a month or two and have fun with it again. wave

I downloaded the game today. I am optimistic that I'll be able to actually play it one day along with all my others. I'm getting depressed. rotfl

Reminds me of that old song "Counting Flowers on the Wall" as I admire all my pretty game icons sitting on my desktop.

Here's a spoiler for you:

Click to reveal..
Click on the last line of the gauge (going clockwise all the way to the end) and then click on the far left button above the gauge. Click on the second from the left line on the gauge and then click on the second button. Click on the fourth from the left line and then click on the far right button above the gauge.

Thanks to LadyCav, who posted the above solution on the Big Fish forums.

Alternatively, here is another description of how to solve it:

Click to reveal..
Move arrow to 40, press button on left
Move arrow to 10, press button in middle
Move arrow to 20, press button on right
