Hi, guys. Several years ago, I remember playing an online indie game similar to Scratches. I believe it was set in an abandoned hospital, asylum, or orphanage. I think it was released in episodes. Would anyone happen to know which game I'm talking about? I've tried searching with no luck. Thank you in advance...it's driving me crazy!

Was it a short free game?

No games at Free Games Galore seems to fit what you are looking for.
And the "online" horror game is so vast that it is difficult to spot a game.

I entered a few searchs in Google but got nothing specific.

Are you thinking of the same one I was... "The House"? I remember how... for a few years, many of us recalled playing a short fun spooky game that takes place in a dark house, but couldn't think of its title (like Veggiechiliqueen)... and then after one of you (Mods) located it, Chief kindly placed it in Free Games Galore so we'd always have it handy.

Veggiechiliqueen~ "The House", unfortunately isn't episodic. It just comes in two parts: (Part 1 from 2005 and Part 2 from 2010), & prob. isn't the one you're looking for, but until your mystery title gets identified, you might find something else in the Free Games Galore list. Or maybe one of the other titles might 'tweak' your recollection. luck

And thank goodness Chief has it in the GB library. Now wouldn't it be great if that's the same one Veggiechiliqueen is looking for?! No one needs to have that nagging, driving-me-nuts-'n'-crazy, can't-remember annoyance in her life! Esp. when it's about a good Halloweentime game.

I found it; it's called The Stone of Anamara (http://www.lapiedradeanamara.com.ar/). Here is the description:

"The Stone of Anamara is another creepy point and click game for thrill seekers. The game starts with you running away from a crime scene and you take refuge at a deserted children’s asylum. While exploring around the asylum, you uncover the story behind the asylum doctor and the mysterious illness of his patients."

Thanks for the suggestions, though; I'll have to check out some of those games when I have the chance!!

You will find The Stone of Anamara, chapter one, at Galore.

Have been looking around for other chapters and do not beleive there are some.

Ana, it's one of those short game without a save possibility.

Glad you found it Veggiechiliqueen! And to think it was sitting on the Free Games Galore list all this time! I like flash games that you can play immediately (without having to download). I just started, but so far, it looks similar to "The House" in the way you enter... although I haven't gotten in... yet. This looks to me like another Halloween "must-play" game!

Chief~ It's really too bad the entire game isn't here (FGGalore). Fingers crossed... that you are able to locate the rest. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy the episode that IS here.

The House (2005) was a nifty little flash game & I'm glad there's now a second part Chief!
