I'm thinking about trying one of these. Are they good? I've played some of the Nancy Drew games - are the Carol games similar? I really prefer 3D games rather than just one screen after another. I liked the way you could move around in the Black Mirror games. Any advise or thoughts appreciated.

Barb -- the Carol Reed games are made up of still screens. If you like a detective mystery while roaming around a 3D gameworld -- have you tried the Sherlock Holmes games by Frogwares?
