I have gone most way through the game without any problems. I have just reached the monastery and i need to get the meat and the horn. I got the meat but I cannot get the horn to scare the cat. I can see the horn, I know where the horn is, but the spyglass will not pick it up The spyglass only picks up the seat and not the spyglass. Any ideas on how to get the horn please.

If it's any help -- I played the other Diamon Jones game, and I remember one occasion where the hotspot was surprisingly far from the object. Have you tried fierce clicking all over the area?

Thanks very much for your suggestion. An hour later i figured it out for anyone else finding trouble. Throw the meat to the dog who eats it. No meat left. It was only a red herring. Talk to Mary Ocean who suggests throwing the cat at the dog to make the dog chase the cat. That conversation triggers letting you get the horn. Amazing.

Whew! That's great that you figured it out. I remember liking Mary Ocean in the other game.
