“The Dark Eye - Chains of Satinav”, the new Adventure from Daedalic Entertainment and Deep Silver, has been released friday and is now available online exclusively for PC.

Quote:
Players take on the role of young trapper Geron, who gets involved into an uncanny intrigue. The kingdom of Andergast, whose inhabitants are well known for their superstition, is in clinch with the neighbored Nostria, but first steps into the direction of an enduring peace are taken. But a mysterious plague of crows disturbs all upcoming hope. The birds are getting more and more aggressive and even attack people.

To get rid of this plague, the king seeks a skilled bird catcher - an opportunity for Geron to prove that the reputation for ill luck, that has followed him since childhood, is undeserved. Following an audience with the king, the prestigious task is assigned to him. However, not only does this quest prove to be unexpectedly difficult, but it also turns out to be the first step into the greatest adventure of his life, which will lead him to the uncharted lands of Aventuria and beyond. Be prepared for stunning hand-drawn backgrounds, elaborately animated characters in HD resolution, clever puzzles and a gripping story.

More details, screenshots and a trailer can be found on the Official Website.

Thanks, Carla! Such a pretty game. Guess I'll have to get it as a download since I can't trust disk versions anymore. frown But on the positive side, I'm definitely looking forward to playing this one. woot

But I will hang on for a while in the hope of a disk version. I already have way too many downloads sitting, waiting, on my machine wink

I just finished playing the game. I thought it was really good. I couldn't stop playing it. Has anyone played The Dark Eye RPG games? If so, are they any good?

Thank you. Have you played it? I loved Book of Unwritten Tales and Gray Matter.
