Well I've downloaded it and run it - which I presume means I've installed it.

But do I have to do anything else ??

If I have to "configure" anything I am lost !!!! eek

Since I never use IE, I didn't download it. Your other option, Mad, is to use Firefox or Chrome or one of the other browsers until they fix it.

Going by what Microsoft says on their
***Instructions for the Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit***,
Quote:
To get started, install the msi. It will place icons on the start menu for the main program as well as a user's guide.

So it looks like you have to check that user's guide to configure it.

There are also some suggestions under "Suggested Actions" on the technet webpage http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/advisory/2757760

There's too much to quote there, and it doesn't look automatic at all.
