At the picture here, we see a tablet on which the numbers of the psalms are displayed in church. They can be found in almost all Swedish churches, and I'm sure the same goes for at least some English and American churches. I'm looking for an English word to use for them. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Mikael, I'd call it a display board, but I'm sure there is a more technical word for it. wave

Here in the UK they tend to be wooden boards with "slots" for sliding in number cards.
And we just call them Hymn Boards or Psalm Boards smile

I'm with Mad and we call it a Psalm board in the churches here.

I knew it had a name. We don't have Psalm boards in our church. wave

So let's go with Psalm boards. Thank you all.

My dad was a minister for many years. My Mom jokingly called that board 'The Menu'. Everyone in the church eventually started calling it that too. Probably not what you want but it was so cute when Mom did that. rotfl
