I have picked the lock behind the bar with the hairpin but the key doesn't show up in my inventory. So far I have the pills, wallet, toothpick, graphite powder, newspaper, hairpin, and the book. He says the key could be useful but it's not in inventory. What am I missing?

Thanks,

gameho

Can you see if the key is still in the drawer? You should have gotten it when you opened the drawer.
Also - that key is dark - check the inventory again.

I can't open the drawer again. It's not in the inventory...it should be to the right of the hairpin. I even started the game over again and followed your walkthrough to this point and it still isn't there. I appreciate the help. Is there a way to scroll through the inventory?

Thank you so much for your help. Apparently, I was playing the game in a resolution that wasn't wide enough so the key wasn't showing on the screen. My genius son figured it out and now the key is in the inventory! Again, thanks for your patience.

Sorry, I didn't mean to "stack" the post.

No problem, gameho - I combined your two posts. smile

I'm really glad your son figured out the problem and you can move on with your game. Sons can be very handy with such things. thumbsup wave
