Well, Im on day 4 and at sesson( I think thats what its called) But cant figure out where to get a hint on what I need to do in that particular puzzle to shut off the force field. I know there is something at the bottom of the well but of course cant access it without the proper equipment to a it so Im thinking thats something I would get to AFTER I get inside. I keep turning those collums but just cant figure out what the right combo might be with no clue in sight.

Would appreciate a little nudge in the right direction.

Your best bet might be to stand to the left side of the column on the left, part-way into the pine trees, facing the direction of the column way on the right.
I formatted the above as a spoiler in case you don't need the extra tip.

The symbols on the stone columns before you climb the steps can be rotated. Rotate the - I think - left one to be the same as the one on the right. (Or is it the other way around? ) Anyway, only one of them will move.

I have been rotating those suckers left and right. lol! Ive tried matching the pattern, going
opposite of the pattern, and just all different ways.

I forgot - when you rotate the columns, look at the front of them, not the sides or back.
