Cateia Games studio responsible for the first Kaptain Brawe and Belgrade Frontment Studio responsible for the visual style of the sequel, along with game industry veterans - screenwriter Steve Ince (Broken Sword), artist Bill Tiller (Monkey Island) and voice over actor Rolf Saxon (Broken Sword), are excited to announce the re-launch of Kaptain Brawe 2: A Space Travesty Kickstarter campaign with the funding goal, pledges completely redefined and a massive support from Ouya.

Even though the original campaign ended with $90,000 out of $150,000 requested, it gathered a big community around the title and clearly showed that there’s a high demand on the market for a classic, humorous, beautifully drawn adventure game. So it seemed like the only reasonable thing to do for Cateia Games and the rest of the crew to get back to the drawing board and plan carefully the campaign re-launch to make sure this time around the fans waiting for the second installment of the game won’t be disappointed.

The new campaign will last for 55 days to make sure adventure gamers out there have enough time to get informed about it plus hey, 55 was always Kaptain Brawe's lucky number! Moreover the initial founding goal was decreased to only $75,000 thanks to the amazing support from Ouya’s Free the Games found. The found was created to support developers like Cateia Games studio making new and creative games. Ouya will match every pledge dollar-for-dollar up to the goal amount!

To celebrate the re-launch of the campaign the team decided to make the first game - Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World - completely FREE for everybody who will back the sequel, despite the pledge level. Every backer who will support the sequel will be able to download the first game, as soon as the campaign sucsessfully ends.

Kaptain Brawe 2: A Space Travesty is a sequel to acclaimed traditional humorous point & click adventure game from 2010 - Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World. The game and it's whimsical characters as well as it's colorful, detailed, hand drawn visual style are inspired by legendary Lucas Arts and Sierra adventure games of old such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and Space Quest!
