Hi I started to play this game, and have run into a bit of a problem, twice now, I have lost links..
the first time, I just restarted and got the hot spot available but this time, its so far in the game
and just finished the color hex puzzle and there is no hot spot for the scales, am I not doing something
first.. like placing the puzzle somewhere or phone call or something?

If I remember correctly, to get the hotspot for the scale - you have to go nearer the exit door and then look back to the scale.
Also be sure that you got the note-clue from the Dresden lamp-statue.

Yes, you have to try to open the door to get the scale hot spot active. And finding the clue note is optionable, as I remember.
