I am playing Nancy Drew Ransom of the Seven Ships. Senior Det. Does anybody have a saved game for getting the compass from the monkeys? I am tired of being laughed at by them. Thank you in advance.

I don't have a saved game, but have you gotten the beacon for Johnny Rolle yet?

Also, some advice about beating this game:

Before the game starts, there is a countdown. Look at the board and find the guave. Hit it first. Then look for a crab. From there the starfish will give you 3 points and that's enough to beat the monkey. Be patient and wait until the board is standing straight up before you click on it. One guave...one crab...and then look for the starfish.

That was my experience, but I was playing in Junior mode.

Otherwise, someone elose here can probably send you a saved game.

No I haven't gotten the beacon yet. trying to get the compass to trade for the metal detector. Thanks for the tip on beating the monkey, I will try it.

I am not certain about this, but you *might* need to get the beacon before you are able to get a compass from the monkeys. It wouldn't hurt to try that, too.
