Hi - I'm stuck at the combination lock in the Chemical mixing room. I read all the notes in the mausoleum, made the new lifestone, etc., but can't see the dials on the combination lock to set it to get in to play with the brains. I have both of the most popular walkthroughs (from Chris somebody and Jacques), and have gone back and retraced my steps. I never got Dr. Frankenstein speaking to me, so I wonder if that is a factor.

I turned my brightness up on my monitor to 100, but I still can't see the 5 switches. HELP!!!! I'm stuck big time. frown How do I get Dr. Frankenstein to scold me, or, if that doesn't matter, how do I see the combination switches???

Thanks for any help you can give me! wave

Here is a SPOILER from balmoralsoftware walkthru:
"There are several things to see around this floor.l For instance, you can look at the BLACKBOARD, activate some ELECTRICAL MACHINES, look at a PERIODIC TABLE (chemical elements), you can climb to the TOWER;S ROOF, you can open a DUMP WAITER and look inside the shaft, you can push aside a cabinet to find a CLOSED GRATE, you can read a NEWSPAPER telling about your verdict and hanging. Go back inside the castle and into the SECRET PASSAGE behind the tapestry. Drop the TURKEY LEG and LIFESTONE on the desk. Climb up again, exit the grate, climb up toward the balcony and get inside the tower. Now take the WOODEN PLANK on the missing stairs and go down."
(Dr. Frankenstein is supposed to come visit again, but I have it crossed out in my notes, so don't remember if he did or not). "Look around and go toward the corner desk. Take the BATTERY (glowing green box), connect all three wires in turn and pull the levers." (You get reactions from each one). The "third will contract the arm and the last will turn off the freezer. This will help you go through the door beside this table." Turn and take the wires on peg. "Turn around and look at the desk in the middle of the room". There is a key in a desk drawer and it fits both doors, one of which leads you to the switches you mention. I hope this is where you are and this helps. I found the balmoralsoftware w/t very helpful and it has maps of the castle too.
Love, Betty Lou
