trouble with Search = Secrets of Da Vinci

Hi all,
Am trying to do a search for Secrets of Da Vinci and no matter what I enter I get a message that there's no information or something to that order.

I would appreciate someone to tell me what I'm doing wrong. Have never had this problem before.

Hi Maritje,

Take a look at the Search page and you'll see an option for "date range". Try changing that to posts "newer than 1 year", as the default is only newer than 1 week.

Thanks for the reply Rushes! I've tried all date ranges and no go. Very strange.

Anyway, I'm at Day 4 and have to decode the 4 series of signs. I followed the walkthrough and got the white area on all the signs but, when I try to pick up the blood stone to see the numbers,the game won't let me. I'm only able to pick up the 2nd one (charcoal/crayon)?

I'll probably be able to finish the game but it seems like a bug to me.

I placed Da Vinci on the search and then as Rushes stated placed newer than 1 year in search parameters.
I got 4 pages in the result.

Have you picked up the real bloodstone from the drawer by the fireplace in Da Vinci's room.
The bloodstone at the journal is only an icon for the item picked up. You picked up a charcoal earlier that is why you can pick up that charcoal icon.

Hi MaG! I also used newer than 1 year but perhaps I didn't do it to the 2 places. I'll try again later just to see.

I do have the real bloodstone and never thought of using that for heaven's sake:) I'll have to go back and see if that will work. Thanks for that tip.

I'm now at the part of having to copy Mona Lisa and I had a tough time getting past the guards. I didn't think this game was going to be nerve-racking and I was caught a number of times. Good game though.

I love this game. Have fun copying the Mona Lisa, Maritje, that's a toughie. There is a sneaky bypass to the puzzle if you get stuck with it.

Okay, I managed to get to all the Hint pages for Da Vinci. So simple when someone tells you how lol.

Thanks Rushes for the heads-up about the Mona Lisa, something else to worry about. If I need a 'sneaky' bypass, like Arnold Swarzenegger, I'll be back LOLOL
