Drac 3 Path of the Dragon, Help I can't leave dead Irina

I see many of you have problems with this game and some are further along than me, so I hope someone can help me. I'm dead stuck..I've followed MAG's walkthru and I can't leave the dead Irina. I examined the blood message..got the syringe..got the spool and tacks..did the puzzle and opened the box...I have the vase (and examined it) I have the grammaphone recording...I found all three books (they are in my documents) I found the empty space for the forth book...found all the ghost covers I even tried to call the police but I can't leave. It says I've forgotten something. I even did the extra not necessary puzzle but no luck. I did get a flash the first time I tried to leave but I don't remember what it was. Please help, I'm stuck with the dead Doctor. Spoilers welcome. Thanks, Sky.

It sounds as though you've covered everything - but did you examine all the words on the rim of the vase in close-up?

Also make sure that you closely examine the text on the illumination puzzle.

Are you close enough to a saved game that you can replay this section by the walkthrough? That might help unstick you.

I've been overwriting saved games....I don't know how far back my last one is. But I might have to do that. I've covered that vase over and over again. I've read MaG's walkthru and hints at UHS and I just don't see what I could have missed. I have all three books in my documents and I've been over the empty book space several times. I'll go back and try the vase again. I might need someone to mail me a disc with a saved game on it since my new computer isn't online. Sky

Good luck, go over what you can from your current save, and that you've checked all the tabs in the books on Irina's desk. It's likely just one small detail that's holding you up here. Let us know how you get on.

I went back and clicked on the tabs of all 3 books, didn't work. Please someone, I'm still looking for help. Sky.

Click on all active spots in all rooms.
Read all the documents that you learned especially the one you got in the library and the puzzle box.

NOTE TO ALL....I had to go back and replay from my last saved game. I did everything exactly the same and I was able to get unstuck. It might be wise for y'all to keep saved games fairly close together as you play this just in case. Thanks to all who helped. Sky.

I think the second rule of adventure games - after pick up everything is --- save often.
I usually save before a puzzle and after a puzzle. It saves frustration.
