Act of Murder 2 library slider

After an hour on this slider (can't get the last 2 pieces..) I am ready to cry "uncle"--or "asperin" Does anyone have a saved game after the slider? Thank you

Am now in Cuba--have picked up the pillow at the Shaman's and have the broken and too large brushes for the fan. I can't seem to get Nicole to ask to borrow the stick. I have clicked on the fruit at the Montoute Estate and the grindstone without the belt but seem to have run out of conversation possibilities. What have I missed.

Have you clicked on the left side of the grindstone where the belt should be, so that Nicole knows it needs a replacement?

Yes, I have clicked on both the left side and the center of the grindstone....

Have you tried clicking on the stick anyway to see if that triggers any dialogue?

After I did it once and he replied that it was propping the door, when I click on it, she says that she might get it later. I tried going back and clicking on the fruit-- but he hasn't said that he didn't get to have his drink yet.

I had actually played through this before but forgot to bring the stick back and then I couldn't find by the pillow, so I tried to replay the scene again.......

Let's review:

You looked close at the fuse brush and see that it is worn out.
You got a new one from Manuel.
You check that one on the fan and see that it is too wide - so you need to make it smaller.
You check the grindstone and see it needs a belt.
Back to Manuel and ask for belt.
He said he wants something to drink.
You get pillow from house, borrow stick and get the fruit.
Return the stick and give fruit.
Then he gives belt.
Use belt on the grindstone and fix the fuse.

You can do somethings not in order but some needs a trigger.

Thanks MaG and Rushes I never figured out what I had missed but I played from an old game ( back at the Archives) and got it to work.
