Gray Matter --first trick

I have found the up in smoke page and left clicked it. I guess you could call it two frames--one for each page of the book, but am not able to access my inventory from this screen to get the spart cartridge. What have I missed?

Hi Angie,

If you go back to the main game screen and move your cursor over the character you want to play the trick on, hopefully you'll see a special "magic" icon appear. Left click and you'll be taken to the screen where you'll carry out the trick.

Everything you need should then already be close to the circle around Sam. I think the spare cartridge is sitting in a section of screen above her head? Just left click and drag it to where you want it to go.

Rushes, I'm missing something....I click on the trick in the book--then close the book? I don't notice anything different about Sam after I close out the book. Wow, I'm really confused!

I just edited my above post -- I realised you were still looking at the book and not at the magic part yet. Hope it's clearer now!

I'm trying to go from chapter 3 to chapter 4 with no success. I have called the Inspector about the car, I have found the smoky space. What I'm missing

Can you tell us what your percentages are on your progress bar, anything less than 100% -- that'll help us figure out what you might have missed. Also which areas on the map are not greyed out yet.

I'm trying to play this card game in chapter 4 with no success, you said even and odd cards, but I have bouth of them in every deal.

I cannot bit him what is the secret?

To start with:
- If there are an even number of cards dealt, select that the proctor should start.
If there are an odd number of cards dealt, select that Sam starts.

Then you need to select a prediction card of your own, which is placed in the envelope at bottom right.

Whoever goes first, two cards are selected and slanted. If it is Sam who goes first -- select any two cards OTHER THAN the prediction card you placed in the envelope.

If one of the cards the proctor chooses is the card you selected for the envelope, then click on the OTHER slanted card. You need to keep that predicted card in the game!

Just keep the predicted card unclicked and in the game up until the end -- it needs to be the last one remaining.

you dont have to see what kind of cards
you have really,odd or even but
the total number of the cards which are
in frond of you.So if you have 5 or 7 cards
total are odd,if you have 4 or 6 0r 8 are even.
