Return to Mysterious Island 2

I just started this game. I rescued Mina and she is sitting on the ground in front of a tree. The WT says select "caress" and jep asks for a hug. Mina's energy raises a bit. Then it says to go to top path, be at a crossroad and Jep smells something. I cannot get Jep to move. I can't find the spot to the top path. I have tried everything and can't get him to move to go get a bandage. What am I missing? Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

Click on the X button at the bottom right of your screen and you'll switch across to playing from Jep's viewpoint.

One more quick question. I tried again to get the gun and couldn't get it. Every time I went to the windmill area it took me over to the monkey with the gun. So I gave him the nuts and I could proceed up the stairs. Do I need the nuts later in the game? Can I get more nuts later in the game if I need them? Thank you for your help. GarfieldOdi

All of the food items are optional -- there's lots of other different foodstuffs which Mina and the monkeys can eat. Don't worry about the nuts.

I am at the WT where Jep is cracking nuts with Amber. After I crack enough nuts the WT says to combine pine nuts and the seeds together and then click on Jep's picture. I gave the pine nuts to the mean monkey earlier and can't get any more pine nuts. Is there more some place that I can get more pine nuts or do I need to start over again? Thank you for your help. You can feed Jep any food at this time - your aim is to get Jep's energy back up.
